This appendix provides an alphabetical listing of terms commonly used in the industry and found in this Missile Forecast, along with their definitions. Worldwide, a variety of guidance systems technologies have been developed, their roots reaching back to World War II and the Allied and Axis powers. The following provides information on various missile guidance technologies and techniques developed since the 1940s.
