It has been my honor and privilege to serve the IS community as Editor-in-Chief of MIS Quarterly for the past five years. There are many I would like to thank for giving me this opportunity and for supporting me in this work. Among the many people to whom I owe a profound debt of gratitude are the members of the MISQ Policy Council (of 2007) who somehow sensed that there was a core of value and determination in my otherwise decidedly maverick approach to things.
