Rochester Police And Olmsted County Sheriff's Office Team Up For Successful 'Shop With A Cop' Event

Saturday, December 8th marked the third annual "Shop with a Cop " event at Wal-Mart North in Rochester. Almost forty officers from the Rochester Police Department and deputies from the Olmsted County Sheriff's Office donated their time to participate, and helped area kids in need have a Merry Christmas. The event is called "Shop with a Cop" and was organized by the Rochester Police Athletic League (PAL). Andrea Thomas and Jamie Lea Wellik are the Rochester PAL program directors and oversaw the coordination and implementation of this event.
