LEMA Loses One Of Our Own Survivors Darlene Felt On December 7, 2010

Darlene is survived by her loving husband of 62+ years Herman. Her sons Mike (Laurie) Felt (Deputy with Carver Co Sheriff's office); Steve (Barb) Felt (Deputy with Otter Tail Co Sheriff's Office and Part-time Officer with New York Mills Police Department) grandchildren Amanda, Brendan and Kendra Felt and Mercedies Bjorklund and Jayce Brown.The Felts buried two children at an early age, Linda Ann and Curtis. Curt was fatally shot in the line-of-duty working as a Douglas County Sheriff Deputy on June 29, 1978. Because of losing their son in the line-of-duty, the Felt's became active in the Minnesota Law Enforcement Memorial Association serving on the board from 2000-2009.
