It's easy to get carried away when building a Mini, especially if you're taking inspiration from the immaculate standards set on the concours scene. But you don't always have to go to the extreme to attract attention, as this modified Mini proves. Russell Slater was looking for a project to take on and bought this Mini back in January 1999 for that purpose. He got to work and transformed it into a show car and hasn't let its standards slip since.
