With the IMM/Mini 50 deadline looming ever closer, the exterior of Project 45 is now the area receiving all of my attention. The front arches have been fitted, along with the genuine Rover chrome side strips. The front suspensionrnhas been lowered with advice from Japanese tuning legend, Mr Shuji Maruyama of Mini Delta (www.mini-delta.co.jp). I am running the Mini Delta fast road suspension springs all round with the Mini Delta competition Hi-Los. When using this combo with 10-inch wheels, you need to modify the front Hi-Los if you want the car to sit very low. This involves cutting 20mm off the threaded bolt and removing the lock-nuts.
