It is hard to find time to even think about my Clubman Estate project during the summer show season. I had hoped for a unique engine build, using an ultra-rare Alexander 7-port crossflow head from the early 60s. Stuart Gurr from Vmax Scart built me a unique 1061cc engine but I have decided that this cylinder head really deserves to be used in something like a historic racing Mini and doesn't comply with my desire for the Clubby to be a sports tourer.
