I don't know how much research Peter Barker did before writing the Power of 2 piece [Neil Preston's twin Cooper S engined Mini, May 2010 issue] and I don't know who checked it for accuracy but when he says "... became fascinated by BMC's efforts at creating the very first Twini Minis back in 1963." He was clearly unaware that the Cooper Car Company had built the first one in 1962 and it put John Cooper into hospital that year after a very serious accident on the Kingston by-pass.
