She's alive!

It's always nice to see progress; no matter what capacity it may be in. But it's especially nice to see progress when it's to do with your own project Mini. You'll recall that I'd been struggling to find the time to give the Mini the attention it needed, so I'd called upon the help of local specialist, Palmer Brothers of London (+44 (0)20 8857 3232). Prior to the car being collected, I'd already replaced every electrical component in the engine bay, thinking the starting problem was probably a spark issue. It wasn't. Although, to ensure the little 998cc lump ran smoothly, I probably would have replaced it all anyway. I then turned my attention to fuelling and discovered there was no fuel coming from the pump output pipe. A dead pump maybe? Or perhaps just a blockage?
