Wattisham Mini Club

WMC was set up in 2014 after Simon Jessop noticed an increasing number of both classic and New Minis appearing on his military base, Wattisham Station. The club increased to over 30 members from the local area in the first week, and now has around nearly 70 active members from all over Suffolk. In January the WMC decided to run a charity drive for Help For Heroes, driving from Wattisham Station to Felixstowe seafront, collecting money along the way. The event took place on 4 July, supported by BMW Cooper Ipswich, with Robert Earls of Minis for Heroes joining them for the day with his H4H inspired Mini. WMC collected a tidy £200 for Help for Heroes, as well as having a lovely day at the beach.
