Inside this issue we have a review on the inaugural event of the Westcountry Mini Scene. The idea of the Scene is to unite Mini clubs in Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Somerset, without stepping on the toes of already established clubs in those areas, with the aim of boosting numbers for Mini runs and gatherings. The event was successful so maybe it's something that could also work in other areas all around the Mini world. The MiniWorld team enjoyed the Classic Motor Show at the NEC and you can see our pics on pages 87-89. It was great to see some Minis which we've not seen before at Mini shows. There's loads more to see inside this issue including a brilliant restored privateer Cooper, a stunning Innocenti Cooper, a fab modified 998 saloon and an amazing Pick-up. In the final part of our interview with Chris Dawson he shares his memories of working with John Cooper. AC Dodd shows us how to refurbish a Lucas M79 pre-engaged starter motor.
