Before I could arrange for Sheldon's MOT I knew that he needed a good check over as there were a few niggles I'd found before his winter hibernation. I also found that two of his Yokohama A539 tyres had deep cracks on the tread. I can't complain, as he's been on the same set of Yokohama AS39s for quite a few years now, but I found it a bit odd that we've also had the same problem on STElf. Maybe moving the cars around a bit over winter would have prevented this. Thankfully I had a few spare steel wheels, already fitted with tyres, which I swapped around.
