When it comes to a birthday present you can't get much better than a car. It's even better if you are just 15 years old; the car's a Mini and it's also your dream car. Craig Price has, indeed, been living the Mini dream since he was 15 back in 1996. "I'd always wanted a Mini as my first car. My dad, Dave, knew where this 1972 Mini 1000 had been abandoned in a barn - he only paid £60 for it - although a cow had sat on the wing!" There were no worries about the condition as the pair of them knew from the start that they were going to rebuild it from scratch. "We said that we'd get it ready for when I was able to drive it," remembers Craig. It was trailered home and they could then get a close look at their investment.
