When MiniWorld met up with Tom Mealiff, in Ireland, in May, the brilliant Irish IMM was just getting underway after years of hard work and preparation. As a dedicated member of Irish Mini Owners Club, Tom was part of the team working tirelessly at the event. For the uninitiated Mini fan, an IMM, or International Mini Meeting, is an annual event held in a different country every year. It's a chance to meet old friends, make new friends, see some Minis that you've never seen before and experience the hosting club's culture and local scenery. There's usually plenty of partying and enjoyment to be had too. For Tom, much of the enjoyment of an IMM lies in the long road trip to and from the venue. That's why he decided to create his perfect IMM Mini. It had to be able to take luggage and a tent, be reliable and also comfortable to drive over thousands of miles. He decided that he needed a Clubman Estate with a Rover SPi engine.
