Once we've owned a Mini, most of us rarely leave them behind and fully move on. It's a hard car to beat and one that caters for just about everything. Whether you want a classic, race car, flies-in-your-face speedster or something that will leave a supercar for dust, a Mini or a derivative of a Mini usually has the answer. Phil Mallery probably thought he had moved away from Minis when he hit his 20s. Having owned a Mini Seven, followed by a Van, between the ages of 17 and 19, it wasn't until eight years ago that he bought a 1993 SPi Cooper.
