I am restoring a 1974 Mini 1275GT. When I bought it, two years ago, it was quite an abused car and was fitted with 8.4" disc brakes and Rover Minilite type alloy wheels. I always preferred the look of the 10" Rostyles on the GT and wondered if you could tell me if my car should have the 12" wheels and the bigger disc brakes or should it have S discs and 10" Rostyle wheels? Also, the car is currently fitted with wheel arch extensions. Is this correct and, if I do fit the Rostyles and S brakes, will it need arch extensions?
