I live in Oxfordshire and am a member of the Mini Invaders Club. My husband Steve is also a member and I first became interested in Minis when I (begrudgingly) attended Mini in the Park with him. I loved every second of it and the following year (2012) Steve's friend mentioned he was selling his Mini and we decided to buy it. I fell in love with her the minute I drove the 1981 Mini HL and she became affectionately known as Mini Moo. As members of Mini Invaders we attend many local shows and it was from viewing other Minis that ideas started to come to me. I really wanted her to be personal to me. We found some seats on eBay and, one Sunday, we drove to Hull and back to get them. In November 2013 my husband began restoring her into the beauty she is today. I wanted her to pay tribute to an incredible chanty that I personally benefited from.
