Der Schmierstoff und dessen technologische, ökonomische und ökologische Eigenschaften sind heute integraler Bestandteil des Lastenhefts eines neu zu entwickelnden Getriebes im Automobilbau. Infolgedessen müssen für die zielgerichtete Entwicklung des Schmierstoffes aus den Anforderungen des Getriebes formulierungsrelevante Schmierstoffkennwerte und das tribologische System gut abbildende Screening- und Getriebetests abgeleitet werden. Der Vortrag beschreibt die zum Teil im Zielkonflikt zueinander stehenden Anforderungen des Getriebes und dessen Peripherie an den Schmierstoff sowie entsprechende Screening-, Komponenten- und Getriebetests als Werkzeug zur Freigabe- und Qualitätsprüfung der Getriebeölformulierungen.%The lubricant and its characteristics in terms of technology, economy and ecology are an essential part of the specific list of requirements for transmissions to be newly developed in the automotive industry. For a target-oriented development of lubricants it is therefore necessary to derive from the requirements of the transmission lubricant parameters that are relevant to its formulation, as well as screening and transmission tests that well reflect the tribological system. The paper describes the requirements of the transmission and its periphery to the lubricant which are sometimes in conflict with each other, as well as the relevant screening, component and gearbox tests as tools for approval and quality testing of the transmission fluid formulations.
