Sonoco To Increase Prices For Uncoated Recycled Paperboard

Hartsville, South Carolina based Sonoco will implement a $50 per ton price increase for all uncoated recycled paperboard products in the U.S. and Canada, announced James Harrell, Division Vice President and General Manager, Paper North America. The price increase will become effective with shipments on and after September 1. In most cases, the price increase will take the place of a previously announced energy surcharge that went into effect on July 14.
