Recology Buys Lubo Anti Wrapping StarScreen

In May, Recology based in San Francisco, California, purchased a Lubo Anti Wrapping StarScreen (AWS) from distributor Van Dyk Recycling Solutions. The Recology facility processes residential Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) at approximately 30-40 tons per hour and 150 tons per day. After the inbound waste is cut down by a size reducer, the AWS StarScreen separates the material by size and screens out over 90 percent of organic waste in the 0-2" range, diverting it from landfill placement.
