Maryville, Tennessee based Spectra Recycling Inc. announced that it has purchased SP Fiber Recycling of Knoxville, reported The (Tennessee) News Sentinel. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Spectra said in a news release that all SP employees were offered continued employment. Steven Dixon, CEO of Spectra Group, said in a news release that SP's Hoitt Avenue facility will primarily be a paper and cardboard processing plant, and will continue to purchase material from the public on site or provide containers and pick-up service.
