PSI Unveils New Paper Spec Drafts At Confab

At the Paper & Plastics Recycling Conference held earlier this month in Chicago, the Specifications Committee of Paper Stock Industries (PSI), a chapter of ISRI, unveiled new specification drafts and proposed changes to some paper stock grades. Below is a brief synopsis of the drafts and proposed changes: 1. Sorted Residential Paper - Consists of sorted news, junk mail, magazines, P&W papers and other acceptable papers generated from residential programs, sorted and processed at a recycling facility. This material is free of any brown grades.
