Waste Pro Opens New MRF

Earlier this year, Waste Pro, a solid waste collection and recycling company based in Longwood, Florida, opened a new Materials Recovery Facility (MRP) in Ocala.The company was awarded a recy- cling contract in Marion County and they decided to build a brand new recycling facility to meet the demand. The new 65,000 square-foot Materials Recovery Facility (MRF), on nine acres, is designed to process recyclables from single-stream collections, said Tim Dolan, Waste Pro Regional Vice President. This MRF marks the 8th recycling facility for the company.
