Demand for Old Corrugated Containers (OCC) is up in the Southeast, report RM sources. "OCC and Mixed Paper, along with Newsprint is on the way up with demand strong in the Southeast. Export appears to be the factor in driving prices up. With generation starting to drop off, supply may be a little short for the next couple of months," said one scrap fiber broker based in the Southeast.
