Washington State Bans Polystyrene

Washington State Gov. Jay Inslee signed a bill May 17 thatwill limit the single-use plastic across the state. Washington’sSB 5022 bans the manufacture, sale and distribution ofcertain expanded polystyrene (EPS) products. This includespacking peanuts, foam plastic coolers and dinnerware, accordingto the bill.
