EPA Selects U of I For Pollution Funding

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) selectedthe University of Illinois – Illinois Sustainable TechnologyCenter (U of I) to receive a $323,928 P2 Grant to promotepollution prevention in manufacturing and processing facilities.P2 means reducing or eliminating pollutants fromentering any waste stream or otherwise being released intothe environment prior to recycling, treatment, or disposal.
