The United States Air Force in Korea, 1950-1953

摘要

United Nations air superiority and the potential air striking power of the United Nations air forces were the principal air defenses of South Korea. In context with this estimate of the situation and with its responsibility for maintaining an air defense for South Korea the Fifth Air Force recognized that its best defense was the perpetuation of air superiority, the maintenance of its striking power, and the continuing neutralization of North Korea's airfields.
