NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg released NATO's Annual Report for 2018 on 14 March. Summarising it ay s press conference, he stated that Allies have done, "a lot more together - in more ways and in more places - than ever before." The allies have been successful in strengthening NATO's deterrence and defence posture, boosting their cyber defences, fighting international terrorism and deepening partnerships, he said, adding that there are more than 20,000 troops serving, from Afghanistan and Iraq to Kosovo, the Baltics, and Poland.
