Inventory management of aircraft spare parts and equipment has played an important role in maintaining and improving air power. In recent years, the quantity of aircraft spare parts and equipment has increased as the Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF) operates high-technology aircraft and weapon systems.The ROKAF has a total of twelve air-bases whose inventory-management systems are operated by the supply squadron of each respective airbase.
