Navy considers ship-based, long-range Marine Corps UAV for EW, cargo, and reconnaissance

The article offers information about the move of U.S. Navy and Marine Corps aviation to consider designing ship-based multi-mission unmanned aerial vehicles that can operate at extended range and endurance and could be operational as early as 2028. Other information about creating unmanned aircraft for battlespace awareness, electronic warfare, battle management, logistics, and fire support is presented.
