This is a mild demurral to the approach taken by Hajra et al. in a recent article. The article's goal is to express ln γ_1, ln γ_2, and ln γ_3 as functions of x_2 and x_3, where γ_1, γ_2, and γ_3 are activity coefficients of the components of a solvent-rich ternary system and x_2 and x_3 are atom fractions of the system's solutes.
