Chameleons and Camouflage

This column is being written from Johannesburg, South Africa, where my wife and I are visiting with family and enjoying our annual vacation. We have just returned from a one-week safari in the glorious Okavango Delta in northern Botswana, a country in southern Africa where we enjoyed miles and miles of open veld, swamps, and, of course, every type of animal and bird that lives in this part of the world. While touring this wonderful territory I made an observation that in a remote way has relevance to the paints and coatings industry, and I thought that I might share it with you.
