Selection of UV lamp systems for UV-curable coatings

An increasing variety of UV curing equipment is available to cure the inks, coatings, and adhesives that are being sued in an ever-widening array of applications. Before presenting information on important recent development sin UV equipment, such as high-output reflectors, cool UV, single wavelength lamps, and switching power supplies, a review of the standard features of UV systems is presented. The UV system consists of the lamp, lamp housing and reflector, power supply, and operator interface.
