A major event promises to draw hordes of visitors to the Mandalay Bay Resort & Convention Center in Las Vegas this spring, and it's not a heavyweight prize fight, high-stakes golf tournament, or competitive sporting match. Give up? It's the 2008 IPC Printec Circuits Expo/APEX/Designers Summit, which is slated to kick off March 29-April 3. The three-pronged event, organized by IPC-a global trade associa tion comprising 2,500 member firms-will host leading experts from around the world to discuss challenges facing the electronic interconnect industry. Dozens of full- and half-day courses will cover a broad range of topics critical to all segments of the industry.
