China's struggling cobalt sector has been forced to start consolidating, which industry experts believe may take a few years but will ultimately benefit the sector. Many small or mid-sized cobalt producers shuttheirfacilities last year due to poor market conditions and government-ordered power cuts. Some have since sold their operations.
