Vale's Metorex takeover a step closer as Glencore buys Sable

South African miner Metorex will sell its Zambian copper and cobalt processingoperation, Sable Zinc Kabwe, to Glencore for155 million rand ($23 million). The sale of Sable fulfils a condition of the planned $1.1 billion acquisition of Metorex by Vale, announced in April.
