Can the higher demands in combination processes be safely fulfilled?

In order to save water, energy and chemicals, as well as reducing the process time, the textile industry is aiming at introducing combination processes to their plants. Furthermore the quality of the goods must not suffer and/or the environmental impact negatively increase. The machine producers have already installed their modern machines with low liquor ratios, hence water and energy consumption can drastically be reduced. Dyestuff manufacturers have also optimised their dye ranges, to keep dyeing time and temperature as low as possible, while fastness has generally improved. However, all of this is not sufficient to safely dye various dye lots. Furthermore, textile auxiliaries have to be specially tuned for such processes. If process time and water/energy consumption are to be reduced even further, one has to combine various process steps, which are currently done separately. In order to run combination processes safely, the auxiliaries especially have to fulfil highest demands.
