Effects of washing cycles on some fabric properties and surface appearance

摘要

In this study, it was found that fabrics knitted from 19.7 tex rotor spun yarns had more pilling tendency with respect to the fabrics knitted from 29.5 tex rotor spun yarns. The pilling tendency increased significantly after 25 washing cycles especially for the test fabrics and it is significant for the fabrics made of ring spun yarns.
