VDMA: Upward trend of German textile machinery industry

During the first 3 months of 2010, incoming orders were 130 % above the result of the 1st quarter 2009. The Textile Machinery Association VDMA, Frankfurt/Germany, predicts an increase in sales volume of 30 to 35% compared to 2009. In the last quarter of 2009 exports reached a volume of € 555 million. In January and February 2010, textile machinery already worth € 533 million had been exported.
