OUTLOOK FOR REDUCING COSTS OF METROLOGICAL ASSURANCE IN THE OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY

Basic trends in the process of reducing costs for metrological assurance in the oil and gas industry are outlined. One such trend is related to the use of measuring instruments and measurement systems equipped with the function of metrological self-check and the second with the use of virtual measuring instruments and systems.
