摘要

Hot compression deformation behaviour of 4032 Al alloy was investigated at temperature of 653–n783 K and strain rate of 0?001–10 s21n. The true stress–strain curves indicated that the flow stressnof 4032 alloy decreased with the increase in temperature and the decrease in strain rate. Thenmicrostructural evolution of the alloy during hot deformation were observed and analysed usingnscanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. The experimental resultsnshowed that Si particles did not participate in deformation and the main softening mechanism wasndynamic recovery. In addition, the hot deformation behaviour of 4032 alloy can be described bynhyperbolic sine function.
