摘要

A p-type segmented FeSi_2/Bi_2Te_3 thermoelectric material has been optimized and the optimal junction temperature has been determined based on estimation and measurement. It was observed that the optimal junction temperature is about 195℃, which corresponds to the segment length ratio 10:1 and the hot-side temperature 510℃ for the segmented material FeSi_2/Bi_2Te_3. The maximum power outputs are about 800 (W m~(-2)) from calculation and 610 (W m~(-2)) from measurement for the optimized segmented materials, respectively, being approximate 1.4 times those of homogeneous materials β-FeSi_2 at the same applied circumstance.
