In situ Mg_2Si/Al-Si composite modified by K_2TiF_6

摘要

An in situ formed Mg_2Si reinforced Al matrix composite synthesized by adding pure Mg into molten hypereutectic Al-Si alloys and modified by K_2TiF_6 were investigated. The results showed that the sizes of Mg_2Si and primary Si particulate decreased from 80 to 30 mu m and from 100 to 50 mu m, respectively.
