摘要

One-pot approach is developed to synthesize NiS@onion-like carbon nanocapsules via the arc discharge method, in which NiS nanoparticles are coated by defective onion-like carbon shell. The effective combination of the NiS nanoparticles and defective onion-like carbon leads to high capacity, good cyclability and superior rate capability. As the anode of Lithium ion batteries, the NiS nanocapsules electrode maintains a discharge capacity of 546 mA h g (1) after 100 cycles at 0.1 A g (1) and obtains a reversible capacity of 408 mA h g (1) at 4 A g (1).
