Synthesis and characterization of a novel porphyrin derivative for optical sensor

摘要

A novel porphyrin derivative named porphyrin-diazocine-porphyrin (PDP) has been synthesized and characterized. Optical behaviors of PDP are investigated upon concentration of trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) in dichloromethane solution. Results of UV-vis show that the absorption intensity at 420 nm changes linearly with the solution color changing from pink to green as the variation of acid concentration from pH 7 to 4.36. The fluorescence studies show that the fluorescence quenched seriously by adding TFA in the solution. These results suggest that the J-type aggregations are formed to form head-to-tail type structures. Further, studies of the optical phenomenon by adding triethylamine indicate that this J-aggregates transformation is reversible. As a consequence, the PDP can be used as an optical pH sensor material with high sensitivity and photostability. (C) 2019 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
