A catalase-inorganic hybrid microflowers (Cat-HMFs) modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was fabricated for amperometric detection of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). Cat-HMFs were prepared by the coprecipitation of catalase and copper phosphate crystals via sonochemistry. Cat-HMFs/GCE showed linear current responses under the H2O2 concentration of 100 mu M-10 mM, and the detection limit is 50 mu M. After stored under ambient conditions for 30 days, Cat-HMFs/GCE still remained 92% of its initial activity, which demonstrates Cat-HMFs/GCE has excellent long-term stability. (C) 2019 Elsevier B.V.
