Throughout several years, laser sources have been established as a successful tool in producing the desired or intended result in various fields of research. In this review paper, our prime motive is to present an up-to-date analogy of applications of lasers particularly in the field of biophotonics. Biophotonics mainly concerned with optimum convey of energy between light source and target. So, for enhancement of this field distinctive property of lasers are extensively used. First, we have discussed about the essential description of few lasers according to the biophysical consideration of laser-tissue interaction time and effective laser power density. Later on, several techniques under these considerations were reviewed by highlighting their importance and the type of lasers used for different biophotonic applications.
