摘要

This paper reports the effect of the stacking fault energy on densification behavior and deformation of 316L stainless steel powder during hot isostatic pressing. Abouafs creep densification model was modified by considering the stacking fault energy as a material parameter. The new model was implemented into Abaqus - FEA, and finite element calculations were compared with various experimental data such as densification behavior, relative density distribution of powder compacts, and final deformed shape of powder compacts of 316L stainless steel under hot isostatic pressing. The new model was also examined to predict densification behavior of 316L stainless steel powders in the literature. (C) 2016 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
