摘要

Autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) is an innovative material introduced into the United States market in the 1990s.AAC was created and patented by Johan Axel Er-iksson in 1924,and in 1928 Karl August Carlen licensed and began manufacturing AAC [Matthys and Barnett (2004)].AAC is a lightweight cellular material composed of portland cement,lime,water and finely ground sand.The raw materials are mixed into a slurry and an expansive agent such as aluminum powder is added to the material causing macroscopic voids to form,resulting in a final volume of two to three times the slurry volume.The result-ing cellular structure has high thermal efficiency which is the basis for this study (Figure 1).AAC elements are used in masonry blocks and pre-cast panel construction.Benefits of AAC include excellent fire resistance,low sound transmission and reduced environmental impacts by reusing waste materials.
