This report analyses the retail market for sun care products in France for the review period 1995-1999. Forecasts are made for each year 1 the year 2004. For the purposes of the study, sun care is divided into three sectors: suntan, aftersun and self-tanning. 1. Suntan products include all items used in the preparation of skin and hair during exposure to sun. The sector incorporat pre-sun care, sun accelerators, screens and total block products. 2. Aftersun products include moisturisers and treatments used following exposure to sun, in addition to lotions used to prolong the tan. 3. Self-tanning products are those which provide a tanned appearance without exposure to sun.
